The margin/cost shown (₹3,846.33 in your case) is an estimate to help you plan your trade based on the contract you’ve selected. It calculates using the most recent LTP when you pick the strike, but it’s not a real-time cost calculator that updates continuously as LTP changes.
Think of it as a snapshot margin requirement at the time of contract selection—similar to how most F&O margin calculators work. Once calculated, it stays fixed on the order screen to give you a consistent reference point while you’re placing your order.
If you switch strikes or refresh your selection, the margin will recalculate based on the new LTP at that moment.
