Repeat Order from Position Tab
The Repeat Order from Position Tab feature enables traders to quickly place a new order using the details of an existing or closed position. This allows intraday traders to re-enter trades instantly without manually filling order details.
Intraday traders frequently:
Re-enter the same stock after partial exits
Trade the same symbol multiple times in a session
Miss opportunities due to slow order re-entry
Currently, they must go back to the order screen and re-enter all parameters, which wastes time in fast markets.
Add a “Repeat Order” action directly inside the Position Tab.
This action reuses the position’s key trade parameters and opens the order placement screen with pre-filled values.
User opens Position Tab
Selects an Open or Closed Position
Clicks Repeat Order
Order placement screen opens with auto-filled details:
Trading symbol
Exchange
Buy / Sell (defaulted to last executed side)
Product type (Intraday / MIS)
Order type (Market / Limit – editable)
Quantity (default = last traded quantity)
Price (auto-fetched from live market)
User reviews, modifies if required, and places the order
Faster re-entry into trades
Reduced manual errors
Ideal for scalping and momentum strategies
Improves intraday execution speed

Margin availability must be re-validated
Quantity must follow exchange and broker limits
