"Breakeven" preset in Scalper mode

Scalping entries at key levels are great, but exit of trade usually drives the profits we keep. Option players require riding trends on a trending day, while capping losses on a range-bound day.​

Proposed Breakeven Preset

Add to scalper settings a user-defined breakeven trigger (e.g., 45 points). When an active trade hits this 45 points in gain, Punch system would move the SL to “entry level + auto-cushion” (to cover for taxes/STT/brokerage).​

Example: PE 26000 bought at ₹100 (10 lots, Stop Loss ₹70, Take Profit ₹190). At ₹145 (45 points defined as breakeven level), SL is moved to ₹100 + expense cushion (₹0.25 as 10 lots at ₹100 would cost ₹130-140 in taxes, fee, brokerage) → ₹100.25.

Pros

• Can ride trends till session end (esp. when no take profit level is enabled).

• Higher win rate: Prevents profits reversing into painful losses.

• Better than TSL, as it enables price to move freely (till take profit level or 3:30 PM). Big players usually hit TSL of traders to clear liquidity and then resume in trade’s direction (visible on trending days).

• Cushion (added to entry level during breakeven) would also cover for slippage during trade fill (execution).

Cons

• Defining tight breakeven level (e.g., 5 points) risk whipsaws. Cushion covers expenses, but small breakeven trigger would likely result in increase in trades taken, to achieve same profit growth.

Overall idea with Breakeven in scalping mode is to:

(a) Mind becomes free to focus on next trade opportunity, as Breakeven (at cost + cushion) would protect capital during sudden spikes. Certainly helpful when away from screen for extended period

(b) Can put an end to wrong trading habits like unnecessarily booking smaller profits. Enabling winning trades to ride the whole trend without risking full SL amount (after trade is in some profit).

This feature is in long term interest of option buyers who wish to create big wealth from trading (not just money) and can help Punch generate better client performance (more capital = more trades). Peace! 🙏
